DURA PRODUCTS is Hiring a Regional Sales Representative Upper Midwest Territory Near Sioux Falls, SD

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for selling Dura Products' range of equipment, primarily targeting agricultural retailers, co-ops, and growers. Your territory will require extensive travel, primarily from September to May, as you work closely with customers to provide training, support, and generate orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and target agricultural retailers, co-ops, and growers as potential customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations to educate customers on the benefits and features of Dura Products.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns within the region.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote Dura Products and network with industry professionals.
  • Provide excellent customer support and respond promptly to inquiries and requests.
  • Track and report on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities within the territory.
  • Work closely with the internal sales and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Proven experience in direct customer interaction, either through sales or customer support.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, averaging three nights a week during the agricultural offseason (September to May).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • The ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives from different territories to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Previous experience in selling pumps, meters or other spray components.
  • Prior experience selling into the agricultural retail industry.
  • Experience selling and working with regional retail Distribution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
