We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. As a pivotal member of our dental practice, you will be responsible for guiding patients through their treatment journey, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support. Responsibilities:
  • Patient Consultation: Meet with patients to discuss treatment plans recommended by the dentist. Explain procedures, expected outcomes, and associated costs in a clear and empathetic manner.
  • Financial Coordination: Work closely with patients to develop personalized financial plans for their treatment. Discuss payment options, insurance coverage, and financing alternatives to ensure affordability and transparency.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate treatment appointments according to patient preferences, dentist availability, and treatment timelines. Efficiently manage the appointment schedule to optimize productivity and patient satisfaction.
  • Patient Follow-Up: Maintain regular communication with patients to address any concerns, answer questions, and provide ongoing support throughout their treatment journey. Follow up after appointments to ensure satisfaction and compliance with post-treatment instructions.
  • Insurance Processing: Verify insurance coverage, submit claims, and follow up on outstanding claims to maximize reimbursement and minimize out-of-pocket expenses for patients.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as maintaining patient records, updating treatment plans, and managing patient inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to deliver seamless patient care and ensure a positive overall experience for every patient.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a dental office preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance protocols.
