Dunkin' | Travel Mart, Inc. is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Wisconsin Dells, WI

Work as a part of our growing Maintenance Team to ensure the functionality of equipment and pride in the facilities of our 55 restaurants and 7 convenience stores. This specific position will be concentrated on answering the needs of the locations in proximity to the greater Madison area, but will require some travel / day trips, as well, throughout the geography of our business.

Our Maintenance Technicians:

  • Provide emergency, scheduled, and preventative maintenance repairs of equipment at all our locations.
  • Complete general electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work to correct issues with machinery and facilities.
  • Conduct general upkeep (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks, as assigned (painting, tile etc.)
  • Are resourceful and hands-on. They use the tools provided and available online / via reference (technology, training videos, manuals, etc.) to trouble-shoot and correct maintenance issues that arise in our locations.
  • Are hard-working and self-driven. Working independently 85% of the time, they must be organized and efficient.
  • Have great communication skills. They are in communication with a number of Managers, Contracted Service individuals, and warranty service providers every day. Being kind, courteous and patient is key.
  • Can be flexible, without frustration. While we try to work our schedules out to best meet the needs of our Techs, the primary job is to see that our locations are able to operate, so each morning can be a surprise as to what the day may look like.
  • Must have good driving record and be able to travel.
  • Are on a rotating on-call schedule for night and weekend emergencies. As our team continues to grow, the frequency of this necessity will be lowered.

Physical Demands

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position and hours of work and days will vary depending on the maintenance needs of the facilities.
