Position Overview:
We seek reliable and proactive Unarmed Security Officers to join our team part-time, with shifts primarily scheduled on weekends (Friday to Sunday). This position offers flexibility and is perfect for individuals seeking supplemental income or valuable experience in the security industry while contributing to the safety of events in the Georgia area.

32 hrs Max Weekly

Event Staff: Fri-Sun 4/4-6/16/24; Noon-7:30 pm

Remaining hrs- Mon-Fri flexibility

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity and promote a safe environment for event attendees and staff.
• Monitor access points and conduct thorough bag checks or security screenings as event protocols require.
• Patrol designated areas to promptly identify and address any security concerns or safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action to de-escalate situations and ensure the safety of all individuals.
• Enforce event policies and regulations courteously and consistently, while providing assistance and guidance to attendees as needed.
• Communicate effectively with event organizers, fellow security team members, and local authorities to coordinate security efforts and respond to any emerging issues.
• Complete accurate and detailed reports documenting security-related activities, incidents, and observations.

Requirements:

• Valid Georgia Unarmed Security Officer Certificate training
• Previous experience in event security, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of individuals.
• Observational skills and the ability to remain alert and attentive during shifts.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings and on short notice if necessary.
• A high school diploma or equivalent and additional training or certifications in security or first aid/CPR are advantageous.
