HOURS : Full-time Days : 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm, 4-10 hour Shifts (Monday-Friday; No Holidays, Evenings and Weekends!) LOCATIONS : Must be willing to travel to all three sleep center locations (Lockport, Lombard, Naperville) Good enough isn't for us.

A Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Sleep Center Supervisor and clinical direction of the pulmonary physicians who are diplomats of the ABSM.

The technologist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This includes polysomnography, diagnostic, therapeutic services, and education.

Responsible for the coordination and delivery of professional and courteous patient care. Has the ability to complete administrative tasks as well as technical duties.

The Journeys and Adventures that Await Gather & review patient information -histories, medications, procedure request and study protocol Explain procedures and orient patient to sleep lab Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments if necessary Perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting Follow procedural protocols (such as Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT), Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT), parasomnia studies, PAP and oxygen titration, etc.
