Corrections officers perform rounds, and p rovide direct supervision of residents to e nsure that the rules and regulations of the facility and contracting agencies are being followed.
They m aintain an environment that promotes motivation and change with a positive and cooperative attitude toward residents and coworkers, and model appropriate behavior and boundaries for residents .
