Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent food service to our guests and ensuring their overall dining experience is enjoyable. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Duties:

- Greet guests and escort them to their tables

- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options

- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests

- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals

- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner

- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction

- Clear tables and clean dining areas after guests leave

- Handle cash transactions using POS system or cash register

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase revenue

- Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional guest service

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required

- Strong knowledge of food safety practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately

- Familiarity with Square a plus

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
