Duke Employee Occupational Health & Wellness (EOHW) within the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Tech for a full-time position. Duke Employee Occupational Health and Wellness (EOHW) provides services for over 45,000 faculty and staff of the Duke University Health System and Duke University.

JOB SKILLS
Strong written and oral communication skills. Self-directed with ability to adapt to a changing environment. Strong problem solving with ability to prioritize, planning, dependability, detail-oriented and highly organized, knowledge of medical terminology. Experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel programs desired.
1. EMT- Complete a state approved accredited EMT education program and be certified as a North Carolina EMT. (OR) 2. Licensed Practical Nurse- Graduation from an accredited program and licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina. (OR) 3. Certified Medical Assistant-Graduation from a Medical Assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). High school or GED graduation required. Certification by AAMA or AMT required. Certification by AAMA preferred. College degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.
None required above minimum education/certification requirements. 1-3 years relevant experience preferred.
