Seeking a positive and effective leader with exceptional leadership, as well technical expertise, and collaborative qualities across disciplines (nursing, medical imaging professionals, radiologists) to continually improve the infrastructure of Interventional Radiology. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, critical thinking skills, and problem solving, while promoting the highest quality patient care. The Radiology Supervisor for Interventional Radiology must be a strong advocate for patients and the team they lead. They need to be technologically savvy, able to troubleshoot and solve the most difficult challenges, promote a supportive and positive work culture and foster continuous process improvement efforts.
This is a leadership position, rotating 8-hours per day, 40 hours per week; to include possibility of call, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather. This role includes management of the Interventional Radiology areas of CT, Neuro, Vascular, Ultrasound, and Scheduling.
Team leader experience and active ARRT, ARDMS, and/or CNMT credentials required; procedural experience preferred.
Work requires required registry/certification in applicable imaging modality - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB).
Four years of experience in an imaging modality (Radiologic Tech, MR, CT, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, Interventional Radiology) is required. Two years of team leader or applicable supervisory experience is preferred.
Certification as prescribed by ARRT, ARDMS/CCI, and/or NMTCB.
