Part of this growing portfolio of capacity resources can reside at customer premises at the edge of the grid. As technology continues to evolve, leveraging technologies such as smart thermostats, hot water heaters, pool pumps, residential energy storage, vehicle to grid (V2G) and managing EV charging can provide additional capacity at the edge of the grid. To achieve this goal, we are looking for a Product Manager who is experienced in Transmission or Distribution system or grid operations to help develop and execute grid edge customer-facing pilots. This individual will be accountable and responsible for structuring Grid Edge Pilots from inception, creating pilot execution plans and determining success criteria. The analysis and evaluation of such pilots will inform the broader Energy Orchestration and Grid Edge supporting teams on requirements for an enterprise-wide Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS) platform. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for utilizing pilots to evaluate impacted operations processes & procedures, collaborate to develop implementation strategies, execute change management plans, and conduct technical training.
The Product Manger defines, delivers, and manages the lifecycle of pilots within their portfolio. The Product Manager will partner with supporting organizations such as Solutions Development, Demand Side Management, Customer Prototype Lab, Marketing, Sourcing and Digital Transformation to execute. Product Manager will lead multiple Product Owners in support pilot execution.
