Overview/Job Purpose

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations for the Clinic to ensure efficient operations and the delivery of the highest quality of patient care possible. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring adequate staffing, clinical staffing, clinical team competencies and quality, and assist leadership to meet organizational goals and objectives.

Summary of Duties:

As a Clinical Supervisor at Duke City Primary Care, your day-to-day duties may include, but are not limited to, the various tasks below:

• Train and develop staff with ongoing support from leadership to ensure they are capable of performing their duties while assisting with the development ongoing training/continuing education programs.
• Supervise, as required, the staff in the conduct of clinical care.
• Participate in interviews and hiring decisions with guidance from leadership.
• Create staff schedules for the Clinic with guidance and approval from leadership; approve and/or deny time off requests with guidance from leadership.
• Cover clinical shifts as necessary due to staffing needs.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems with the guidance of leadership and HR.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and manage/order clinic supplies as needed.
• Maintain high level patient satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.
