Duffy Mechanical Services is Hiring a Mechanical Technician Near Poughkeepsie, NY
We need a well-rounded Mechanical Technician.
We are a Poughkeepsie-based company with 27 years serving Dutchess county in A/C, refrigeration, heating, light plumbing and light electrical. Clients range from restaurants and healthcare facilities, to retail and residential.
Our staff is professional and self-starting. You will work and think on your own and lead helpers when needed. We are service-call based and an equipped work-van is provided (take-home). Overtime projects (night and weekends) are available.
If you are experienced in the range of disciplines of mechanical service, we would like to meet you right away. We offer a competitive compensation, benefit schedule and a company vehicle.
-- Responsibilities and Duties
Respond to service calls while communicating to customers regarding:
service diagnosis, solutions, options and pricing.
Ability to test, troubleshoot, diagnose and solve mechanical and electrical issues.
Ability to service, maintain, repair and/or install all relevant mechanical components
Complete accurate Work-orders

Proficiency in A/C, refrigeration, heating, light plumbing and light electrical
Professional presentation and maintain a legal and clean driving record
