The Area Manager is responsible for ensuring that we deliver against our high brand standards in the quality of our products and atmosphere within their store, as well as other retail locations in the trade area through leadership and support.The Area Manager can effectively create an environment and team that is operationally sound, efficient, and friendly, allowing for ability and time to develop and manage other leaders.They understand the importance of driving sales and lead with a friendly, positive, and enthusiastic demeanor.They are financially savvy and easily adapt to change.The Area Manager is responsible for the performance of their employees and other trade area locations and ensures accountability and performs counseling when needed.Responsibilities:Inspire and lead a multi-unit team to deliver against financial goals and KPIs.Assist in recruitment, selection, and development of a high performing team across the trade area through strategic succession planning and a people first mentality.Communicate professionally and effectively with all employees and cross-functional partners.Manage and measure performance as needed through coaching and documentation as applicable.Track and monitor customer experiences across the market and follow up as needed to ensure a flawless customer experience.Identify areas of opportunities to drive business and profitability within the market.Drive assigned coffee shops to achieve all sales and financial targets.Continuously evaluate and seek to improve self and store through the “kaizen” mentality.Build and support environments for effective and efficient training and development within the market.Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and sanitary regulations at all trade area locations.Ensure clean working environments are maintained throughout the trade area.Ensure proper cash handling if applicable.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:5 years of management experience in food and beverage and/or customer service. Multi-unit management is a plus.Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.Proven record of ability to deliver financial results.Must have reliable transportation.Must be able to work all day parts during hours of operation, weekends, and holidays.Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Adaptable and resilient in a wide variety of circumstances.
