What You will be Doing

As a senior engineering professional at Duetto, you will create full-stack software that delivers a highly interactive, consumer grade, polished experience for our customers that helps them achieve their revenue goals and business efficiency. You will work closely across all functions of the company to implement solutions that make our platform an engaging, actionable, fun, and delightful experience that meets the highest standards of today’s products and expectations of our customers. You will 

• Actively participate in the analysis of initial issues & goals, do research and determine solutions’ requirements
• Design and implement scalable and high-performing solutions that integrate with our backend APIs 
• Write code - primarily Java (backend), along with Typescript, React, and JavaScript (frontend)
• Make architectural decisions and recommendations for converting successful prototypes into mature, scalable products
• Enable fast iteration to test new ideas to get the right end user experience.
• Collaborate with teams across Duetto to improve our product, architecture and engineering practices
• Solve technical problems of large scope and complexity 
• Drive and develop technical expertise growth within the team

Desired Skills & Expertise

• 5 years of experience. 
• Proficiency with scalable server-side Java; ideally in the design of mission-critical enterprise applications
• Familiarity with event driven architecture and application integration patterns
• Familiarity with data-driven design and data-focused applications, and data scalability techniques; required knowledge of SQL as well as modern NoSql techniques
• Understanding and ability to implement Spring Boot-based microservices
• Depth of experience to effectively handle the complexity and decomposition of a large legacy monolith 
• Passion for analytical applications, forecasting, data visualization, and machine learning.
• Curiosity about business problems and using modern infrastructure to solve real world challenges
