About The JobDudek is seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in water quality and stormwater monitoring with a focus on bacterial constituents of concern. An understanding of chemical constituents of concern also preferred. The ideal candidate has water quality monitoring and stormwater regulatory experience as well as project management experience including development and adherence to project budgets and schedules. Experience working with regulatory agencies and a wide range of municipal, state, and private clients.   • Lead water quality monitoring, stormwater regulation, and other water quality compliance task orders or projects. Specific experience in monitoring for bacteriological parameters.
  • Ability to install water quality monitoring equipment and develop monitoring collection systems to accurate collect environmental data.
  • Develop monitoring plans and QAPPs.
  • Provide technical support for stormwater regulatory compliance issues.
  • Prepare reports includes project summary reports, annual reports, compliance reports and other regulatory required reports.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Provide technical guidance and present information to colleagues, clients, agency staff, teaming partners, and other project stakeholders.
  • Support project pursuits, including proposal preparation, for stormwater projects.
  • Participate in professional organizations, conferences, and other industry events to stay informed about the latest trends, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Participate in business development efforts, including the development of proposals, participation in interviews, and successful contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with experts across disciplines to promote multi-objective solutions.
  • Mentor and support the professional development of other Dudek staff
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS in civil/environmental engineering, environmental science, geology, geography, or other related field.
  • Minimum of 8 year of professional experience in water quality/stormwater regulations
  • Technical understanding of stormwater regulations, TMDLS, NDPES permits, and sample collection.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Service-oriented, motivated self-starter with sound business practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical understanding of stormwater management requirements related to California municipal, industrial, and construction National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) programs.
  • Technical understanding of water quality monitoring methodologies and limitations.
  • Experience with appropriate monitoring equipment: Hach, ISCO, etc.

  • This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
