The Dubuque Community YMCA is hiring seasonal Day Camp Staff for their summer Union Park Day Camp programs. Day Camp staff will report directly to Lead Counselors and are responsible for assisting with the care of campers and helping implement daily programming. Qualifications include:

- Previous experience working with children in roles such as babysitting, special education, sports coaching, or similar fields.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and the ability to apply them in a camp setting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with campers, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Ability to adapt to various situations and demonstrate patience, creativity, and enthusiasm when working with children.
- Background in early childhood education or related fields is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
