Description
Complete job tasks, with quality workmanship, as assigned, while maintaining compliance with all state and federal guidelines that apply for weatherization of client homes.
1. Effective material management
· Account for and ensure that tools and equipment are kept in good working condition.
· Ensure that all supplies are accounted for on the job site
· Maintain inventory control in work trucks
2. Minimize need for rework through quality workmanship
3. Strive for high PRISM Results and quality reviews.
· Complete all paperwork associated with job sites in a timely manner.
· Understand and comply with program guidelines.
4. Contribute to positive relationships with homeowners and subcontractors
5. Ensure a quality and efficient service is provided to qualifying clients.
· Complete blower-door and pressure pan tests on homes and seal all major leaks.
· Inspect/seal ductwork appropriately.
· Conduct worse case draft tests on applicable homes.
· Complete water heater measures and DSM requirements.
· Complete work orders in an efficient manner.
6. Sustain effective working relationships with TRI-CAP and Weatherization team.
· Understand and comply with agency guidelines.
· Make sure time cards and supporting documentation are completed on a daily basis
· Become familiar with Personnel Handbook and Fiscal processes to ensure compliance.
· Communicate effectively with the Wx Director, Wx Quality Control Inspector, Executive Director, and all other agency employees.
· Maintain a safe work environment
· Comply with flex scheduling and travel as required.
7. Other duties as requested by Retrofit Install Shell Supervisor, Weatherization Director, and the Executive Director.
Requirements
· School diploma or GED or working to achieve;
· Ability to use all measuring and testing equipment;
· Must be a licensed driver with proof of ongoing auto insurance coverage;
· Ability to obtain competency for Retrofit Installer Shell within 9 months, and retain through Continued Education and required retesting;
· Ability to obtain 10 Hour OHSA Safety card within 9 months;
· Maintain Safety;
· Ability to review work scope and identify staffing and material needs;
· Prepare and maintain work site and tools on the site;
· Implement work scope;
· Clean up of the work site.
· Work is performed at the homes of program participants and in an office environment and.
· Work may include exposure to weather, communicable disease, toxic substances, and other conditions common to home environments.
· Travel is required to offices in other counties, training sites, and homes of participant families. Overnight travel may be required for training.
· Interaction with others is constant.
· Irregular hours are sometimes required.
