Dublinair Health & Rehab seeking an RN Infection Control Nurse. Typical hours will be M-F, 8a-4:30pm. On-call week rotates between nurse managers.
The infection control nurse is responsible for the facility infection prevention and control program (IPCP), which is designed to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment and to help prevent the development and transmission of communicable diseases and infections. This position requires organization and time management skills. Salary for this position is based on experience.
Must have a valid GA RN license, be detail oriented, organized, a self-starter, basic computer skills, and able to multi-task.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Working directly with the director of nursing, medical director, administrator, and other key personnel to ensure standards, policies and procedures are being followed.
Gathering and analyzing infection data, facts, and trends. Providing training and education on prevention techniques.
