The impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Fixed Income Clearance and Settlement Operations Team, the Analyst will provide operational support for the Government Security and Mortgage Back Security divisions of FICC focusing on trade capture, comparison, netting and settlement services to the mortgage-backed and government securities market thus providing operational efficiency to this high dollar value marketplace. A key area of responsibility for the FICC Operations team is the support and preparedness of business resiliency and continuity efforts, cyber security events, and default/liquidity management.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Executes on operational processes by following documented procedures and job aides while working at understanding and mastering knowledge of process.
  • Takes ownership of workload, ensures deliverables met in line with procedures, metrics, and benchmarks; while adhering to critical timeframes; ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk, escalates appropriately.
  • Maintains a steadfast focus on meeting the needs/requests of our internal and external clients, including responding to inquiries timely and accurately, resolving issues promptly.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate issue resolution, process improvements, and risk reduction.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills, active engagement in meetings and displays a curiosity to learn and grow; accepts feedback given and applies to role.
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Qualifications:

  • Entry Level – internship experience highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
