DTC Workforce Programs is Hiring a Fabricator Near Lebanon, IN
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
· Conducts spot welding
· Assist Fabrication Tech A when necessary
· Fabricates and assembles structural metal products
· Locates and marks bending and cutting lines
· Designs and constructs templates and fixtures
· Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications, using square ruler, and measuring tape
· Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow standard safety practices and regulations.
· Cross-training and knowledge share with peers.
· Other miscellaneous duties as required/assigned.
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Must be able to works independently and train others if required
· Must have understanding of balance and vibration principles.
· Demonstrates shop math skills
· Can interpret blueprints, specifications, production layouts, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, etc.
· Previous work-related experience and/or any vocational training, preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.30 - $22.30 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
