POSITION: DSST Sports Coach GRADE LEVEL: High School LOCATION: DSST Cedar Campus STIPEND: See below for stipend amounts for current openings STATUS: Seasonal fixed term, temporary, benefits in-eligible (does not qualify for benefits outlined in total rewards), in-person position START: See below for start dates for specific coaching positions AVAILABLE COACHING POSITIONS DSST: Cedar HS - Boys Soccer Assistant Coach Season Dates: 8/1/2024 - 11/1/2024 Stipend: $2,310.00 DSST: Cedar HS - Cross Country Assistant Coach Season Dates: 8/1/2024 - 11/1/2024 Stipend: $2,310.00 DSST: Cedar HS - Robotics Coach Season Dates: 8/1/2024 - 5/1/2024 Stipend: $1,500.00 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated belief in all students and the mission of DSST. Strong character and belief in the core values of DSST. An ability to work and collaborate across lines of difference. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities at one time. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Knowledge of the game and passion for sportsmanship. IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS Coaching Experience KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate relentless drive to improve the athletic skills, minds and lives of students To live and model the school’s core values with colleagues, students, parents, officials, fans, and the larger community To reinforce the school’s core values, guiding philosophy, rules, and school spirit Exhibit mastery and enthusiasm for sportsmanship. All coaches must be willing and able to be trained and approved to drive our activity buses.
