System/Business Analyst/Task Lead – U.S.Air Force Logistics and Installations:

We are currently seeking a highly qualifiedprofessional to lead/manage/coordinate portfoliomanagement and system integration efforts. This individual will coordinate tasks and assist in identifyinggaps in infrastructure, collaborating with key subject matter experts todevelop business cases, and advocating for IT infrastructure changes to meetrequirements (system IT, infrastructure, & business process analysis). 

Candidatewill collaborate with key functional stakeholdersand subject matter experts to identify future infrastructure needs anddocument business cases and requirements documents. Candidate will collaborate with infrastructure organizationsand technical stakeholders to ensure functional requirements aremet. Candidate will also analyze system information across largeportfolios of systems to support gapanalysis; assess impacts of these gaps upon the functional community and recommend prioritization and approaches toaddress gaps. Candidate willsupport analysis of alternatives, business case analysis, material solutionimplementation plans, technology plans (such as cloud migration, applicationrationalization)and guide the functionalcommunities toward a future state capability. 

Thisposition will directly support the Headquarters AF/A4PA (Portfolio AdvocacyManagement Division, DCS/Logistics, Engineering, & Force Protection) at AndrewsAFB, MD and National Capital Region (NCR). 

Theselected individual will assist insupporting investment planning and prioritization activities, analyzing and recommending courses of action to reduce IT costs, reduce organizationalrisk, comply with DoD mandates, meet strategic objectives and functionalrequirements. The selected individual will be required tolead/support summits, Rapid Improvement Events, IPTs, and other meetings withsubject matter experts.

This position requires that the candidates havea flexible work style, with the ability to adjust priorities, respond toshort-turn requests, and yet maintain focus on project success. Preferred individual will be self-motivated,with a high energy level, and a proactive work ethic. 

KeySkills/Experience Required:

·Requiresstrong organizational skills and action-oriented personality; experience leading tasks, tracking actionsacross multiple organizations. Prior Major Command and/or HeadquartersAction Officer experience or support of Headquarters staffing processes aconsiderable plus

·Requiresexperience using continuous processimprovement methodologies, tools, techniques (Green Belt, Black Belt); andusing AFSO-21 tools / techniques. PMPCertification a huge plus.

·Requiresexperience with IT systems and infrastructure management; facilitation,documenting requirements, drafting policy recommendations, and writing officialminutes.

·Requiresfamiliarity with IT fundamentals (software development life cycle, technicaldesign, and requirements documentation); priorexperience in system or technology analysis (e.g., cloud, applicationrationalization), compliance, or portfolio management a plus.

·Requires power user skills in MS Office products(Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)

·Candidateswith recent and relevant U.S. Air ForceLogistics experience are ideal.
