Accountant [Bilingual Japanese / English Languages]

A global electronic components manufacturer is seeking a qualified Accounting Specialist for their San Jose location. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for managing all accounting functions and providing direction and guidance to all accounting staff.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration

- Bilingual language abilities in Japanese and English languages

- Manufacturing industry experience

- 2 years of corporate accounting experience

- Knowledge of full accounting cycle (AR, AP, GL, inventory costing)

- Knowledge of GAAP, with understanding of financial audit process

- Knowledge of sales and use tax compliance issues

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

This is a full-time, direct hire position with a competitive salary ($60,000 to $90,000 per year, dependent on experience) and full company benefits.
