We are looking for a Cashier to join our team and provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash transactions, processing payments, and providing customer assistance. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and answer their questions in a friendly manner.
• Operate cash registers and other related equipment.
• Scan items, process payments, and issue receipts or change due to customers.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
• Keep track of the number of items sold during a shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of the checkout area.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
