Ds Acquisition, LLC is Hiring a Bindery Operator Near Indianapolis, IN

Summary

  • Operate various folders, cutters, card affixers, and die cutting. Folding slitting and scoring, perfing. This job folds for Inserting equipment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read and understand the whole job ticket.

  • Set up the necessary equipment and get a sample sign-off before running. 

  • Monitor quality during the run. 

  • If using a sorter on end, monitor their work. 

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

  • Must be able to set up and run various kinds of bindery equipment.

  • Keep machine speed running at best performance.

  • Know how to handle paper. 

  • Be able to troubleshoot and adjust bindery equipment.

  • Must be able to read and understand measurements.,

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Overseeing sorters and off-loaders.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

Must be able to use and push a pallet jack.
