Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our team. As a Solar Installer, you will play a key role in the installation of solar panels and related equipment for residential and commercial projects.
Duties:
- Install solar panels on rooftops or other structures following engineering specifications
- Assemble and install solar racking systems
- Connect solar panels to electrical systems
- Perform electrical wiring and conduit work as needed
- Test and commission solar energy systems
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
Skills:
- Proficiency with power tools for construction and electrical work
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Experience in fixture installation and plumbing
- Electrical knowledge for wiring connections
- Capability to operate a forklift for material handling
