Join the team at Dry Eye Healing Institute and make your mark as a an Ophthalmic technician/Office assistant! Grow in your position! You will be the first point of contact for our patients and your quick thinking, excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be key to making their visit a successful one!

Ophthalmic Medical Technician duties but not limited to:

  • Taking patient medical histories.
  • Instructing patients about medications, tests and procedures.
  • Performing vision and diagnostic tests.
  • Assisting with patient procedures.
  • Coordinating patient scheduling.
  • Supervising and training other allied ophthalmic personnel.

At times, on admin days you might also be gathering patient information and verifying insurance benefits to processing payments and scheduling appointments, you will be at the forefront of the patient check-in and check-out process when Doctor is not seeing patients. This opportunity presents itself as challenging but rewarding! We offer great team oriented work environment that’s fast-paced and patient focused. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be well organized and be able to multi-task.

We have a small, dedicated team who work well with one another and are flexible in helping wherever help is needed most; we strongly believe that “teamwork makes the dream work.”

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
