WHAT YOU NEED for SUCCESS:

A minimum of 3-5 years in healthcare/the medical industry/a clinical setting

This experience must include a high level of knowledge about the items required in clinical care from injectables to infection control products

Significant understanding of a broad range of medical products in the supply chain of a typical medical group or healthcare company

An understanding of high-level customer service and how to sustain it

Experience and a high degree of comfort working in a digital environment with proficiency (using e-commerce websites, conducting internet research)

A willingness to be coached consistently and given feedback

An ability to focus intensely and avoid distractions

Each of our reps manages 3-6 accounts depending on account size. Daily responsibilities include:

• Learning everything there is to know about how our software product works - his name is OTTO - and about our client base
• Becoming proficient in OTTO and using every aspect of his capabilities in the job
• Supporting client staff who are authorized to buy supplies via email, phone and/or chat
• Researching / identifying requested products or supplies
• Researching / presenting options for requested specialty items
• Interacting with manufacturers and distributors who are our supply sources
• Monitoring orders placed by assigned clients and addressing any product issues or unavailability in real time
• Reconciling ship confirmations on each order and addressing any delays
• Communicating with client staff about order status and chosen resolutions for issues on orders
• Reconciling client orders and providing information to our Accounting Dept for invoicing
• Processing returns
• Preparing shipments of certain items stocked here at corporate offices
• Tracking shipment arrivals on certain orders
• Placing orders online with certain vendors that require manual, online orders
• Various other duties that will allow senior personnel and leadership to devote time to the ongoing development of the software and to onboarding of new clients
