DroneUp is Hiring a Hub Leader - Seffner, FL (Hub15) Near Seffner, FL

DroneUp is seeking a Hub Leader to lead a Hub Operations team in the Seffner, FL area. Hub Leaders must demonstrate successful leadership ability while focusing on excellence and consistent execution of DroneUp standards. The Hub Leader will thrive on developing talent, achieving goals and exceeding targets, building great culture, and operating in a safe and compliant manner. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of daily operations
  • Maintain a culture of excellence at the Hub
  • Support OKR-setting, ongoing monitoring, and governance for Hub operations
  • Work collaboratively with flight operations leadership to identify project tracking metrics and progress towards new goals, both short and long term
  • Contribute subject matter expertise on aviation operations to the flight operations team in various forums
  • Ensure operations are conducted to meet safety and compliance standards
  • Monitor and report on daily, weekly and monthly performance trends
  • Support the hiring and development of the Hub staff
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Proven experience leading teams and developing talent to support growth
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing and sometimes stressful environment
  • Part 107 Remote operator Certificate required
  • Experience in a mature, large scale aviation or drone operation required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a culture and ensure standards are met
  • Solid experience interviewing and talent selection
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule that will often include weekends and closing shifts
  • Able to perform repeated movement of equipment and packages up to 50 lbs
