Job Description:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, and customer-focused individuals to join us as a Cafe Team Member and Baker. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our customers have a positive and enjoyable dining experience. Whether you're taking orders at the counter, baking and preparing food, or providing friendly assistance to guests, you will contribute to the overall success of our cafe.

Responsibilities:

● Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor ● Take customer orders accurately and efficiently ● Prepare, bake, and serve a variety of food and beverage items, including bakery items and treats, sandwiches, snacks, desserts, coffee, and specialty drinks ● Ensure that all food and beverage items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation ● Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the cafe, including the dining area, kitchen, and restroom facilities ● Assist with restocking and replenishing supplies as needed ● Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely ● Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service and promote a positive work environment ● Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

● A bubbly, outgoing, and fun personality required ● Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred ● Baking experience ● Strong communication skills and a positive attitude ● Eagerness to be friendly and outgoing with our customers and get to know them ● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask as needed ● Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and food safety ● Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, Saturdays, holidays, and some evenings (as needed) ● Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds ● Experience as a Barista is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
