That's Nice, But What's the Job?

In short, as the University Relations Program Specialist you will manage the development, organization, and evolution of our internship program to ensure the delivery of consistently impactful employee experience across the entire internship journey.

In long, our University Relations Program Specialist are responsible for :

  • Design, develop, implement, and manage the internship program through a student-centric mindset to continuously enhance the program strategy.
  • Positively represent the DriveTime Family of Brands and our Core Principles on university campuses.
  • Apply innovative, student-centric approaches with the intent to set the standard in our industry for our internship program.
  • Identify continuous improvement, validation and automation opportunities using multiple data driven approaches.
  • Develop engaging and informative communications and presentations designed to keep employees knowledgeable about the internship program and company university relations.
  • Partner with employee brand designer and copywriter to develop program branding.
  • Build relationships across the organization and work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand pain points and help drive solutions across the business.
  • Plan, communicate and execute events either on site or virtually to increase engagement, usage, and visibility of the program.
  • Develop metrics to align to organizational goals and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Manage annual budget for university relations and the internship program.
  • Brainstorming potential partnerships, new initiatives, and events to increase brand presence and working closely with university partners to plan and execute various outreach events.
  • Maintaining and developing swag partnerships, processes, orders, and items supporting the university relations and internship programs.

The Specifics :

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-2 years of experience leading internship programs and / or related programs
  • Experience building content for company-wide communications.
  • High attention to detail with an extreme level of organizational skills
  • Work cross functionally across all departments and experience working with various levels of leadership.
