ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Keeps cribs, wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds moving throughout the hospital departments and assists in transporting patients throughout the facility for admissions, discharges and procedures.

2. Assists in moving high-risk patients (patient handling risk assessment tool) from stretcher to bed and vice-
versa, using mechanical devices whenever feasible.

3. Is responsible for the tracking and location of patient handling equipment, identification of new equipment
needs.
