ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to operate an electric motor vehicle.
• Ability to access, understand and act upon instructions located within courier software.
• Ability to organize/prioritize pickups and deliveries.
• Willingness to support co-workers when necessary.
• Ability to document pickups/deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Perform routine maintenance on delivery vehicles, such as monitoring fluid levels and replenishing fuel/charging.
• Collect and deliver outgoing mail to the Post Office, if applicable.
• Other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Personal vehicle to perform the job of courier.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Current and valid insurance.

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Ability to provide in a clear, concise manner information in written or oral form. Read, understand, and carryout verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to analyze information and choose the best solution.
• Recognize and solve problems independently.
