Basic Function:

Assists in the refinishing of damaged vehicles, following generally accepted company processes and quality standards.

Essential Job Functions:

· Masks and protects vehicles including parts that are not to be painted or coated

· Selects, mixes and applies paint and coatings according to MFG or company's specifications

· Inspects painted vehicles for quality of workmanship

· Ensures that customer vehicles kept clean during refinish process

· Maintain a clean, efficient work area and assist in keeping the shop neat and organized

· May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Seven (7) years minimum experience in an Automotive Body & Paint Shop REQUIRED

· Must have own paint guns/equipment

· Must be willing to work occasional Saturdays as needed

· Able to attend training outside of normal business hours

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must have valid driver’s license in good standing.

· Must be able to pass background check.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Able to work refinish Computer / Scale system

· Sit, stand or walk for prolonged periods of time. Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity; requires normal vision and hearing range.

· Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of facility and departmental rules, regulations, and policies.

· Able to lift 40 pounds plus.

· Team oriented.

· Ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicles.

$30.00 per hour DOE
