DreamWorks Residential Supported Living is Hiring a Caregiver Near Colfax, WA

About us

DreamWorks Residential Supported Living located in Colfax, WA. We support individuals with disabilities by providing 24 hour care and community integration services.

We are looking for Direct Support Professionals to join our team! The Direct Support Professional will be responsible for providing direct one-on-one care to our clients and will be the "face of DreamWorks" to the community. We're looking for energetic individuals with a commitment to high quality care, excellent communication skills and a high level of patience, who can demonstrate compassion and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist people with daily living activities.
  • Educate and train clients about their disabilities.
  • Help clients uncover their strengths and to understand their personal values and goals.
  • Work closely with clients' service coordinators and family members.
  • Advocate for clients' rights.
  • Help clients manage their money.
  • Keep careful records of meetings with clients and of services provided.
  • Charting or taking notes for others to review.
  • Providing companionship and supportive listening.
  • Reporting changes in health or status of the client.
  • Taking vital signs, height and weight.
  • Providing transportation to appointments and community activities.
  • Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31,257.00 - $40,320.00 per year
