Dreamville Staffing is Hiring a Recovery Coach (FT) Near Lumberton, NC
- Under limited supervision, performs professional mental health services to inmate population.
- Coordinates with Care Team—Jail Health Services staff to facilitate patient access to evidence-based services in support of mental health well-being.
- Work involves conducting appointments in clinical setting, assessing inmate’s psychosocial history, understanding and using resources to support identified needs.
- The therapist provides a variety of mental/behavioral health services within their scope of practice, including but not limited to; screening, assessment, referral, diagnosis, evaluation, crisis intervention, brief intervention/treatment, consultations, care coordination/management, education, advocacy and other related outpatient services while maintaining patient confidentiality/ HIPAA.
- Works in hostile environment with detainees and inmates.
- Reports to the Jail Health Director.
- MSW—Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist identifier. Experience with counseling clients with current or history of substance use disorders.
- Must maintain annual CEU and other training as required for continued facility accreditation.
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license required upon hire and duration of employment. Out of state driver’s license will be accepted only if the individual is a permanent resident of that state.
- Must take and successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, Motor Vehicle Records driver license check, as well as submit to random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident drug and alcohol testing.
