As a Garage/Overhead Doors Installer, you will play a crucial role in our operations by installing, repairing, and maintaining garage and overhead doors for residential and commercial customers. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to customer satisfaction will be instrumental in our continued success.
Responsibilities:
- Installation: Safely and efficiently install garage and overhead doors, including openers, springs, tracks, and related components according to manufacturer specifications.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on existing garage and overhead doors, diagnosing issues, and providing cost-effective solutions.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, addressing their questions and concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with the installed or repaired doors.
- Quality Control: Ensure the quality and functionality of installed doors, adhering to company standards and industry best practices.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, both on job sites and in the workshop, to maintain a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Accurately complete installation and repair paperwork, including materials used and work performed, for record-keeping purposes.
- Equipment and Tools: Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and company vehicle to ensure they are in good working order.
- Training: Stay updated on industry trends and manufacturer guidelines through continuous training and development.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in garage/overhead door installation and repair preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical fitness to lift heavy doors and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls if required.
