Job summary

The EDI Specialist will perform the role of developing applications and programs for all EDI related processes inbound and outbound. EDI Specialist will utilize an EDI tool, creating connections and maintaining smooth communications for data exchanges.

Primary responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications programs for all EDI related processes.
• Manage Daily operations to ensure and accurate exchange of Electronic Data exchange (EDI) Transactions.
• Monitor inbound and outbound EDI files daily.
• Lead the implementation of new EDI partners through the project lifecycle, including creating business documentation.
• Develop test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Act as a liaison between trading partners, internal departments, and software vendors in managing daily EDI activities.
• Have in-depth and advanced knowledge of EDI mappings.
• Assist with the daily troubleshooting of EDI issues resulting from connection or translation errors.
• Resolve and escalate EDI tickets as needed.
• Conduct EDI Analysis, maintain documentation and reports.
• Design, implement, and monitor mission critical batch jobs and interfaces.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications and competencies

• Solid knowledge of EDI transaction types preferred (850, 846, 855, 860, 210,110, 812, etc.)
• 1 years of experience with MS SQL or other relational database systems.
• Experience working with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), FTP Servers, CommerceHub, SPS Commerce, True Commerce, SAGE X3.
• Strong multi-tasking skills and able to adapt to changing expectations and priorities.
• Bachelors degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
