About this Opportunity:

• Location: DREAM Owensboro - 3750 Ralph Ave Owensboro, KY 42303
• Compensation: $13.00-$14.00 Per hour 
• Position Type: Full-time
• Flexible schedule with varied work hours, including weekends

What We're Looking for in a Lifeguard:

• Certified Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate or equivalent
• American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent
• American Red Cross Standard First Aid or equivalent
• Strong swimming skills
• Attention to detail
• Safety Consciousness
• Good verbal communication & listening skills

What You Will Do as a Lifeguard:

• Monitor designated areas to recognize signs of danger.
• Warn swimmers regarding unsafe situations and improper activities.
• Enforce Pool Rules and Regulations to maintain order in swimming areas.
• Evaluate conditions for safety and initiate action plans as required.
• Inspect pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure they are safe and usable.
• Administer first aid in the event of injury
• Respond to emergencies and rescue swimmers in danger of drowning.
• Administer CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.
