As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and optimization of our trucking operations. You will be responsible for efficiently dispatching drivers, managing routes, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Route Planning and Optimization:Efficiently plan and optimize delivery routes based on customer requirements, delivery deadlines, and traffic conditions.
Monitor and adjust routes in real-time to ensure on-time deliveries and minimize transportation costs.
Driver Coordination:Dispatch drivers and provide them with clear instructions on routes, schedules, and special instructions from clients.
Maintain regular communication with drivers to address any issues or changes in the delivery plan.
Communication:Serve as the main point of contact between drivers, customers, and other stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with drivers, providing updates, support, and resolving any challenges that may arise during transportation.
Tracking and Reporting:Utilize tracking systems to monitor the location and progress of vehicles.
Generate and maintain accurate records of deliveries, delays, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
Problem Resolution:Proactively identify and address potential issues, such as traffic delays, mechanical problems, or changes in delivery schedules.
Collaborate with drivers and other team members to find effective solutions to challenges.

Pay: $18.12 - $23.70 per hour
