So, what will you be doing?

As the Mechanical Operations Specialist, your roleencompasses strategic oversight, training program development, systematictroubleshooting, continuous improvement initiatives, operational assistance,and periodic involvement in D.O.M. activities. To include but not limited toworkshops, model development, model implementation, training, and auditing. Youwill work with team across various locations, fostering a culture of continuousimprovement and providing the necessary tools and knowledge for effectivemaintenance, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

Who you are?
Key Accountabilities:

1. Strategic Planning for Multiple Sites:

  • Assist DOM activities to develop and execute comprehensive maintenance and reliability strategies for each site, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with DOM team to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for evaluating maintenance performance and effectiveness.

2. Leadership, Collaboration, and Training:

  • Train, inspire, and mentor maintenance teams at each site, promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with development and implementation of customized training programs addressing specific skill gaps and emerging business needs.
  • Establish a continuous learning environment that empowers maintenance personnel to enhance their technical expertise.

3. Troubleshooting Oversight:

  • Design and implement systematic troubleshooting processes to identify, analyze, and resolve complex maintenance issues promptly.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to maintenance teams during critical problem-solving activities, emphasizing root cause analysis and preventive measures.
  • Foster a proactive approach to troubleshooting, anticipating potential issues and implementing preventive measures.

4. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and reducing downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements beyond maintenance.

5. Operational Assistance:

  • Provide operational assistance to site managers and maintenance teams, collaborating on strategies to optimize mechanical operational processes and reduce disruptions.
  • Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and assist with implementing best practices across all locations.
  • Support the integration of new technologies and methodologies to improve operational efficiency.

6. Regulatory Compliance Across Sites:

  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards, ensuring compliance across all locations.
  • Lead efforts to maintain and enhance safety protocols consistently across multiple sites, fostering a culture of safety awareness.

7. Vendor Management for Multiple Locations:

  • Work with site teams to manage relationships with external vendors and ensure consistent service quality.
  • Streamline vendor partnerships for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely service delivery.
  • Evaluate vendor performance against established benchmarks.

8. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Assist DOM team in establishing standardized reporting procedures across sites, providing comprehensive insights into maintenance activities, troubleshooting efforts, and key performance indicators.

Knowledge, Skills and Experiencerequired:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in multi-site maintenance management, preferably in [industry].
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Expertise in systematic troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing training programs.

Special Features:
Ability to travel to different sites as needed. Including some international travel. 100% travel
