Research and Implement the current electrical safety codes, training, and safe electrical work practices to ensure the electrical personnel and equipment are as efficient as possible for the plant operations.
Develop and implement an Electrical Training Program for continuous skill enhancement of the electrical department. Conduct task training on equipment such as man lifts and cranes.
Act as the backup Electrical Supervisor/coordinator during the absence of the current Electrical Supervisor/coordinator or when both are on days off. Be on the manager on-call list. Provide coverage during plant shutdowns to ensure a salaried supervisory presence for effective coordination and supervision. In addition, to various projects.
Assist in the development of the path for the electrical department, providing insights into training needs and electrician development.
