**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare to patients. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development. **Duties:** - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Prepare patients for dental work by obtaining their medical history and vital signs - Perform patient assessments and document medical information accurately - Take and process X-rays - Maintain infection control standards in accordance with regulations - Provide chair-side assistance to dentists during procedures - Utilize Dentrix or Epic software for patient charting and scheduling - Practice aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection **Requirements:** - Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program - Proficiency in X-Ray procedures and dental software like Dentrix or Epic - Knowledge of patient assessment, vital signs, and medical documentation - Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is a plus - Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques Joining our team as a Dental Assistant offers the following benefits: - Competitive salary - Opportunities for professional development and training - Positive work environment with a supportive team If you meet the requirements above and are passionate about providing exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
