Duties:
- Manager BOH & FOH Staff, Hire & Train Staff, Inventory, & Scheduling.
-Opening & Closing Duties & Reports.
-Accepting delivery orders.
-Ensure all staff is following all Policy & Procedures & Operating Rules at all times.
-Assist Customers and potential concerns, if needed.
-Aid in bartending if shorthanded or assist in kitchen.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for events or banquets
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a hospitality or restaurant setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and retail math for inventory management
- Familiarity with different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers
- Strong communication skills to effectively take orders and provide recommendations
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in order to accurately prepare drinks according to customer preferences
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items (e.g., kegs)
