Elford Dentistry is a single doctor private dental office with a long standing presence in the West Dearborn community.

Our practice offers an opportunity to practice front desk / dental assistant 3 days per week in a personal, low key, supportive environment.

If you are new to the profession, tired of a corporate environment, or currently in a toxic work environment, we offer you a great work / life balance working 3 days / week

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer phone inquiries and provide basic company information
  • Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents
  • Monitor front desk
  • Gather patient information and health background
  • Prepare the work area for procedures
  • Take x-rays of patients’ teeth when necessary and display results for the dentist
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
  • Prepare materials for crowns or dental impressions
  • Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits
