Dr Michael Haynes is Hiring an Optician Near Monroe, LA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detailed oriented person to join our team. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional eye care services to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort. Duties:
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their prescription and individual needs
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of eyewear
- Educate customers on lens options, frames, and lens enhancements to help them make informed decisions
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed, including frame adjustments, lens replacements, and minor repairs
- Maintain inventory of eyewear, ensuring a wide selection of styles and brands are available for customers
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally

Training contact lens wearers on how to insert contacts and on contact lens care

Learning Vision Insurance and filing of vision claims

Experience: Will Train
- Previous experience as an Optician is not required, but is a plus
- Knowledge of optical systems, or other electronic medical records systems, is a plus
- Familiarity with medical coding, medical records management, and medical terminology is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay: $25,900.00 - $31,000.00 per hour
