Dr. Martens is Hiring a Remote FP&A MANAGER, OPERATIONS

THE GIG

You have a background in accounting or finance with experience under your belt. You’re looking to join a growing business where you will be integral in the budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of the P&L and Balance Sheet, partnering cross-functionally and influencing decision making. You will lead and develop a Senior Analyst in support of delivering against our strategic goals. You get the Dr. Martens brand and are excited to support our growth plans across America.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

  • Support the creation and execution of annual regional budget, quarterly re-forecasts, and monthly projections, working with the leader in each support function to identify and project OpEx and CapEx needs and achieve desired financial results
  • Support functions include Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, HR, IT, Legal, and Finance
  • Drive the ongoing Opex forecast processes, working with business partners to outline potential overspend and savings opportunities, proactively making recommendations
  • Oversee the preparation of the monthly Sales & Operations reporting package, improving the process to deliver impactful insights that tell the current relevant financial story
  • Part of FP&A Leadership to help lead, coach, and develop existing team of financial analysts
  • Supervise a senior analyst with the update and maintenance of financial forecast & budget templates, working with the Group Finance team to manage P&L variances and ensure accuracy in final regional targets
  • Progress the build and maintenance of management reporting capabilities in MS D365, including forecast and budget uploads, working with Accounting to support P&L dashboard reporting required for decision making
  • Manage the regional Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements, populating models with actuals, latest projections, budget, and forecast for comparisons and analysis
  • Analyze the detail behind the numbers, proactively seeking out issues with integration and reporting and working with the relevant departments to find solutions
  • Ensure the correct data is captured by validating and researching when any data issues are found
  • Work with business intelligence tools to extract relevant data; work with BI team members to gather data.
  • Stay current on footwear industry trends and developments; stay current with the latest analytics trends and developments.
