Warm and Personable Full Time Dental Assistant needed for our office in Tigard at Hayden Dental Care.

As an assistant at our office, your primary responsibility will be to connect with and partner with our patients to help them achieve excellent health outcomes. You will be an essential part of our service-oriented, and technically advanced office, ensuring that every patient receives the very best care. Your friendly and personable nature will be instrumental in creating a positive and comfortable experience for patients.

OUR PRACTICE: We are a growing practice, with two dentists and a team of 7-8 people. The right person must be passionate about dentistry and love bonding with patients and working with a great team.

REQUIREMENTS: x-ray certification is a must and EFDA is a plus. New grads and experienced assistants are all welcome to apply. We use Open Dental software and our office hours are Monday and Tuesday 7am to 4pm, Wednesday is 8am to 5pm and Thursday is 8am to 4pm.

JOB DUTIES:

• Assist the dentist chairside
• Set up and prepare equipment for dental procedures
• Take dental histories and vital signs of patients
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment

WAGE: We offer an excellent compensation package and our wage range is $28 to $33. Wages are always offered based on your experience.

BENEFITS: Our generous paid vacation policy will give you 3 weeks paid vacation after the first year and could move up to 4 weeks in the future. You will be able to participate in our bonus plan and health insurance (the Dr pays approximately 75% of the premium.) We also provide a retirement plan, and dental care for you and your immediate family, no dental care limits for the employee.
