Dr Dental is Hiring a Dental Receptionist Near Enfield, CT

Overview:
Dr. Dental is looking for a part-time Dental Receptionist for our office located in Enfield, CT. We are looking for an exceptional and career-minded individual who would be the first line of customer service for all of our patients and visitors. *Dental experience and Spanish speaking is required.*
Schedule: 3 Days a week 9-5, Possible Saturdays 9-3
Pay is: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience
Giving all-star customer service would include:

  • Greet patients and check them in upon arrival.
  • Schedule and confirm upcoming appointments.
  • Prepare new patient charts neatly and accurately.
  • Collect copayments and verify insurance coverage.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to any patient billing or record inquiries.
  • Execute doctor prescribed treatment plans, patient chart audits, and conduct consults.
  • Work with the doctor and patient to ensure treatment plan completion and notify the doctor with any clinical questions the patient may have.
  • Educate the patient regarding insurance benefits and affordable payment options including third-party patient financing.
  • Follow-up with the patient to confirm treatment was completed and schedule appointments, if needed.
  • Help improve office efficiency and workflow while upholding Dr. Dental's standard of care.

Capabilities/Skills:

  • 2 years of experience working in a dental office
  • Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO)
  • Experience answering telephones with a fantastic and helpful attitude
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills
  • High School degree or equivalent is required
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge is required
  • Dental software experience is preferred
  • Experience in a sales environment is preferred but not required
