We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Coding Analyst to join our dynamic healthcare team in Allen, Texas. As a Clinical Coding Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and compliant medical coding and laboratory coding, which is essential for proper reimbursement, data analysis, and regulatory compliance.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with other billing specialists to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
• Reviewing and analyzing medical and laboratory records to identify the appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes according to industry standards and guidelines
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices
• Generating detailed reports and analytics to support decision-making and process improvements
• Providing training and guidance to other coding staff to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Participating in quality assurance activities to identify and address coding errors

Qualifications:

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical and clinical laboratory coding, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility setting
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Proficiency in using coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $42,000 to $64,000 per year for full time, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including:
